Prof Casson publishes a new book: The Theory of International Business

Prof Mark Casson has published a new book titled: The Theory of International Business: Economic Models and Methods.

Prof Mark Casson has published a new book titled: The Theory of International Business: Economic Models and Methods.

This is his latest book linked to the field International Business. His previous books in the field include The Future of the Multinational Enterprise, Economic Theory of the Multinational Enterprise, The Multinational Enterprise Revisited (all with Peter Buckley) and Economics of International Business. The book presents a reformulation of the theory of the firm applied to International Business and addresses popular misconceptions in International Business regarding Economics.

The idea behind publishing this book originated from the first Economics and International Business masterclass, developed for the International Business and Strategy department, and presented by Prof Casson in November 2015. The masterclass syllabus was based on an early draft of this book. The book reflects the new ideas that Prof Casson has been developing over the past 5 years.

The book is available both as an e-copy and in a hardcover, similar to a previous book he wrote with Catherine Casson titled: The Entrepreneur in History.
