On 2nd February 2016, the Entrepreneurship Society had one of their sponsors, PwC, talk to members about personal branding. Each of us is an individual brand, and as Jeff Bezos of Amazon said "Your brand is what people say about you when you're not in the room".

Charlotte Maine, of PwC, shared some top tips and steps in building your personal brand;

  1. DISCOVER - Discover the uniqueness and strengths in yourself.
  2. CREATE - How do you want people to perceive you? Create your status and establish your presence.
  3. COMMUNICATE - Identify what you want to convey and how you want to communicate.
  4. MAINTAIN - Adopt a vivid and consistent perosnal brand and stick to all 4 steps!
