IBS faculty's paper selected for the best paper award

A paper written by two IBS faculty members - Dr. Chul Chung and Professor Chris Brewster - and Dr. Ödül Bozkurt from University of Sussex has been selected for Best Paper Awards in 10th Asia Academy of Management Conference held in Kitakyushu, Japan, in June, 2017. The paper titled "Multi-layered institutional contexts and socio-political dynamics in implementing global HRM policies: A case of a South Korean MNE" examines how socio-political dynamics affect the implementation of global HRM policies within an MNE from a non-dominant economy to identify the role of national and sub-national institutional contexts and managerial agency involved.
