MGIMO and Henley Business School collaboration

On July 21st, Professor John Board and Professor Yelena Kalyuzhnova have met with Academician Anatoly Torkunov, MGIMO Rector

On July 21st, Professor John Board and Professor Yelena Kalyuzhnova have met with Academician Anatoly Torkunov, MGIMO Rector and the top management of MGIMO University including Dr Artem Malgin, MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for General Affairs, Dr Andrey Baykov, the Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs, and Dr Angelika Mirzoyeva.

During the meeting the partners have discussed a number of strategic issues on deepening cooperation between MGIMO and Henley Business School, including the opportunities of creating new double MBA and MA programmes, launching joint PhD programmes and double BA degrees. Further collaboration in “One Belt –One Road Initiative” has been also discussed.

Professor John Board extended his appreciation to the Rector for the professional organisation by MGIMO International Study Abroad Visit. The last academic year was very fruitful for Henley –MGIMO cooperation: the first student from MGIMO completed his master degree in entrepreneurship in HBS, the joint grant from the FCO has assisted the cooperation between MGIMO AND Henley business incubators. The Dean also expressed some ideas on the most promising areas of cooperation between MGIMO and Henley Business School, notably Finance, Arts Management and Sports Management.
