Pathways to Property is currently putting together a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) targeted at 14-18 year olds. The Pathways to Property initiative is a programme, led by the Reading Real Estate Foundation in conjunction with Real Estate & Planning for Year 12 students in UK state schools and colleges who would like to find out more about a career in the property sector.

The MOOC will introduce young people to the exciting world of real estate and explore key issues impacting on the sector such as sustainability, globalisation and the role of technology. We are working with Lendlease, using their International Quarter London project in Stratford to illustrate how these issues come together to shape property investment, development and management.

The photos were taken during our recent 'scoping visit' to IQL with Robbie McKane and Toby Rinkoff of MotionBlurr, the film company who will be shooting a number of videos for the MOOC. The MOOC is due to be released this summer as part of the University's FutureLearn portfolio.
