Visit of Strategic Partner MGIMO

On December 5 2017 a delegation from Moscow Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) visited Henley Business School.
During the day the delegation met with Dr Maksim Belitski, Dr Irute Daukseviciute and Samantha Hughes, discussing the first Henley-MGIMO MSc study visit, which will take place in March 2018. Jurek Sikorski and Dr Olga Khotysheva (Director of MGIMO incubator) discussed the future plans of cooperation between MGIMO and Henley business incubators and Dr Khotyasheva and Dr Jean-Anne Stewart explored the options of MGIMO incubator business cases of start-ups for the International Study Visit 2019.
MGIMO representatives were then greeted by Professor John Board and Professor Yelena Kalyuzhnova in Greenlands campus to discuss about further steps in deepening co-operation. MGIMO is already a strategic partner of Henley Business School, with a number of collaborative projects including double master degrees in entrepreneurship, MBA International Study Visit module, PhD transformation project and more.
Based on the recommendation of Academician Anatoly Torkunov, the Rector of MGIMO, the exploratory discussion and planning of a joint undergraduate programme took place. The International Economic Relations Faculty (MGIMO), led by Dr Oleg Pitchkov, will be the base of this intuitive from MGIMO side. Henley Business School will be conducting initial marketing research to explore the opportunities of the current market for such programmes.
Overall, the visit was a great success. “It was highly productive working visit”, emphasised Dr Pitchkov, the head of MGIMO delegation and the Dean of Faculty of International Economic Relations.
“It was not a visit just for the records, it was a truly working visit with solid outcomes. It was a real partnership day”, concluded Prof Kalyuzhnova.
