Business students celebrate graduation success
A cohort of business students celebrate their success today in a graduation ceremony held in the Great Hall at the University of Reading’s historic London Road campus. Graduates from a variety of postgraduate and research programmes will gather with family, friends, peers and academics to mark their achievements and reflect on their experiences.
Henley is part of the University of Reading and has a long history of empowering individuals to become great professionals and outstanding leaders. Graduates in today’s ceremony will be awarded their degrees following completion of their Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Bachelors and Masters and Postgraduate Diplomas/Certificates.
As well as celebrating the success of graduating students, Sir David Bell, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Reading, will present Professor Tim Wheeler, Director of Research and Innovation at the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and former Reading Professor, with an Honorary degree and announce Felicity Aston MBE, explorer and climate scientist, as the Alumni of the Year.
Professor John Board, Dean, comments:
“Congratulations go to all our students who graduate today, they have worked exceedingly hard during their time at the Business School and we look forward to seeing them as part of our alumni community.”
Graduates now join a global community of over 73,000 students in 150 countries and will use the knowledge and expertise they have gained to continue on their successful journeys in their professional and personal lives.
