Winner of The Sunday Times Leaders Scholarship 2018 announced

Henley Business School and The Sunday Times are delighted to announce Suzanne Viant as the winner of The Sunday Times Leaders Scholarship 2018.

The scholarship provides a fully-funded place - worth £17,900 - on Henley’s MA Leadership programme, which starts on 7 October.

Applicants were asked to submit a 600-word opinion piece entitled ‘How can leaders develop resilience in their followers or teams?’, as well as 50-100 words explaining why they deserved the scholarship. The winning entry was selected from a shortlist by a judging panel, which included a member of the Business School faculty, a Sunday Times representative, and two independent judges.

Suzanne’s winning essay discusses how leaders can develop team resilience through establishing the right culture and behaviours; adopting the right course of action for a situation; and providing the right development opportunities. The essay can be read in full here.
