Winter graduation 2018

Congratulations to all our graduates

Today, a cohort of business school students celebrate an important milestone as they graduate from Henley Business School and the University of Reading in ceremonies held in the Great Hall at the University’s historic London Road campus.

Henley is part of the University of Reading and has a long history of empowering individuals to become great professionals and outstanding leaders. Continuing the line of successful business professionals, graduates in today’s ceremonies will be awarded their degrees following completion of their Undergraduate courses, Masters, Postgraduate Diplomas and Certificates, MBAs and PhDs.

Graduates now join a global community of over 75,000 students in 150 countries and will use their newly acquired skills and knowledge to excel in their careers and lead future generations of aspiring professionals to make their own mark in the business world.

As well as celebrating the achievements of graduating students, Professor Robert Van De Noort, Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Reading, presented Honorary Degrees to Rt Hon Sir Mark and Lady Rachel Waller, who set up the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust to increase awareness about depression among young people. Dr Rosalynd Roberts, Legal Adviser on War Crimes and Rule of Law for the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, was also announced as Alumna of the Year.]

Professor John Board, Dean of Henley Business School, comments:

“Congratulations go to all our students on their hard work and achievements and I hope that they have enjoyed their time at Henley. We now welcome them to our alumni community and look forward to seeing them prosper in their future careers.”

After the ceremonies, programme members joined their families, academics and support staff at reception events to reflect on memories of their individual and collective experiences at Henley.
