Alison Hennell has over twenty years' experience in global financial education specialising in International Financial Reporting and Corporate Finance.

Alison has over twenty years’ experience in global financial education. In 2011 she joined Henley Business School as an Associate Professor in Accounting and Financial Management. She is currently the School Director of Teaching and Learning with responsibility for Teaching and Learning strategy and quality assurance. She teaches Accounting, Financial reporting and Corporate finance at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Alison is also involved in Executive education, delivering the Deloitte’s CFO and GAC programmes to managers across Europe.

Alison qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and has eight years’ experience in practice working for PwC in London and Sydney. In 1992 she joined Kaplan as a finance tutor. In 1995 she moved to the Management Training Partnership as a finance lecturer, designing and delivering executive education programmes for blue chip managers globally. From 2000 Alison worked as an Associate finance tutor delivering professional and executive education programmes for clients including UBS, HSBC, Unilever, British Airways, T-mobile, Kaplan and Shell.

She has written several financial publications including “Shareholder Value Explained” published by the Financial Times.
