As a tutor, Graham offers a blend of experience from working as a leadership coach, psychotherapist, and mindfulness teacher. He has worked as a psychodynamic psychotherapist for over 20 years, alongside his work with organisations. He is a pioneer of the integration of deep psychological thinking into the work of coaching, and his book, Leadership Coaching: From Personal Insight to Organisational Performance (2006) is recommended reading on many coaching trainings.
Graham has over 20 years’ consulting and coaching experience, working with board members and executives, as well as senior and high-potential managers, across a range of sectors. He has created and led programmes on leadership development, talent review, talent development, internal and external coach development, and authentic leadership. In addition to recruiting, managing and supervising high-calibre groups of coaches and consultants, Graham is a published author, lecturer and conference speaker.
His professional background includes international pharmaceutical marketing and management consultancy, focused on strategy, marketing
and pricing. He has also spent 16 years as a leadership consultant and coach, first with PeopleWise, and then The Thinking Partnership, where
he was managing director. Graham is an APECS-accredited coach and coach supervisor; and member of the Association for Business Psychology and British Psychological Society. He is also a UKCP-registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist and holds a first class honours degree in experimental psychology.
