Description of PhD project

The PhD project is looking into developing information architecture for healthcare organisation. It believes that information is construed through human and social activities within a healthcare organisation. Organizational onion and organizational morphology from organizational semiotics study are adopted to describe the information architecture for healthcare organisations. The layers (informal, formal and technical) in organizational onion deduce the analogy of information requirement elicitation process.
