Understanding the story behind the data is a key aspect of Chris’s role; he provides fresh insights to help enhance the planning and delivery of our services to students and employers.
Chris is a Humanities graduate from the University of Exeter and also holds professional qualifications in Careers Guidance (Diploma) and Information Science (PG Diploma from UCL). He initially worked as a careers adviser in schools and colleges in Surrey, before moving into Higher Education in 2001 in an Information Manager role, responsible for developing careers information services and managing the Destinations of graduates survey (DLHE) at Kingston University, the University of Reading and, most recently, King’s College London. In addition to data analysis and reporting, Chris has many years’ experience developing web and systems technologies within careers services, managing online services and introducing the TARGETconnect (My Jobs Online) platform at Reading and King’s College. A major aspect of his role for Henley Careers is to review our online content to ensure that students have seamless access to the best sources of careers information and job opportunities.
