Biography

Clare graduated from Reading University with a degree in law. After graduation she joined one of the Big 5 accountancy firms where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). In practice she specialised in corporate tax, working on a number of major global restructuring projects and high-profile transfer pricing enquires, as well as doing compliance work.

For the last 20 years Clare has been working in professional financial education, teaching across all the major accountancy qualifications including ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, ATT and AAT. She lectures mainly in tax and management accounting, as well as law. She also has extensive experience in the production and delivery of online courses, both live and via distance learning.

Clare now works at Henley Business School as a Lecturer in Accounting and Taxation.
