Filipe has developed research for a variety of private, public and third sector organisations; currently he is directing a large-scale research programme into director independence and governance across a number of non-profit sectors (higher education, NHS, sports and charities). Filipe teaches corporate governance and strategic management topics in the Masters in Financial Regulation, the BA in Applied Management and occasionally on the Henley MBA. His research has been published in well-ranked journals such as Long Range Planning, Corporate Governance, and International Journal of Disclosure and Governance, among others. Filipe’s research also appears regularly as book chapters, case studies and industry reports.
