Jack supports the execution of the employer relationship and events strategy at Henley Careers. He is keen to develop solid and long lasting relationships with organisations to support their recruitment needs and brand awareness on campus. Jack is also a tutor for placement students undertaking their year in industry.
A passion for supporting others in their career development has been embedded in Jack’s career. Having previously undertaken various management roles at Sainsbury’s, he moved into Human Resources as a Learning and Development Manager in 2016. Whilst in this post he recognised the value of development that has impact and supports progression of professional and leadership behaviours. In September 2017, Jack had the opportunity to develop this culture amongst undergraduate and postgraduate students within the School of Literature and Languages at the University of Reading, designing and delivering on an employability scheme comprising of professional development courses.
Jack is currently working towards completing a CIPD Diploma in Learning and Development alongside supporting the university with the implementation of a new learning management system for colleagues.
