Jessica is Project Manager in the Henley Centre for Leadership (HCL) and has wide-ranging experience in the creative industries. After a degree in Classics at London University (Royal Holloway College), she studied photography and copy editing at the University of Stuttgart and continued working in Germany as a freelance journalist and translator. This led to a series of book contracts with the prestigious publishing house DuMont (now DuMont Mediengruppe). Jessica also spent three years living in Lisbon where she took further practical training at the city’s Academia de Belas Artes. Her professional experience with communications and the production of collateral materials also includes a period working for the Government of Seychelles at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. She is an experienced TEFL teacher and has taught in London, Lisbon and Oxford with several leading language schools. As well as being a practising artist, Jessica has many years experience of editing and layout design as well as proof reading and journalism.
At Henley Business School Jessica works closely with Dr Bernd Vogel, Director of the Henley Centre for Leadership, and Claire Collins, the Director of the DBA Programme and Subject Area Leader for Leadership and Change. Her focus is planning and co-ordinating the new LAB (Leadership and Business) programme, with special emphasis on researching and identifying industry leaders as participants. Jessica’s role also includes developing marketing materials for LAB, such as brochures, videos and the website. She is also working with Henley colleagues in supporting other Henley Centre projects, including the Military Leadership Dinner Debate 2018 and the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) Leadership and Change event.
