Keith Arundale is a Visiting Fellow at the ICMA Centre and specialises in private equity and venture capital. He lectures on the MSc degree in Corporate Finance with responsibility for the elective module on Venture Capital. Keith has also been responsible for the core module on Financing and Risk Management of Technology-based Projects which was part of the MSc degree in Project Management in the School of Engineering and Materials Science at Queen Mary, University of London. Keith was with PricewaterhouseCoopers for most of his career where latterly he was in charge of the venture capital programme and marketing & business development for PwC’s Global Technology Industry Group in Europe. Since leaving PwC in 2005 Keith has been pursuing a portfolio career of teaching, training and consulting in private equity and venture capital together with non-executive roles.
Keith holds a BSc, ARCS degree in Physics and an MSc, DIC degree in Applied Optics from Imperial College London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Fellow of the Institute of Directors and Fellow of the Institute of Physics. He is the author of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association’s ‘Guide to Private Equity’ and his book ?Raising Venture Capital Finance in Europe? was published by Kogan Page in 2007. He is an international trainer with Private Equity International and specialist consultant on private equity to Right Management (a Manpower Company). He was President of the English Technology Tour in 2007.
Keith is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He is a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Marketors City Livery Company (2007), a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and a Freeman of the City of London.
