Tayo is an expert in the West African real estate market while being an ardent student of international real estate markets. He has held roles in real estate services, real estate development, mortgage banking and asset management. Adopting research and other tools, he has advised several clients ranging from developers, banks, fund managers, staff cooperatives, pension funds and high net worth individuals/families on real estate investments.
His doctoral research focuses on constructing a robust house price index for the Nigeria market by adopting a methodology that allows for the correction of the effects of heterogeneity in property while using as little temporal aggregation as possible. The study would further assess the relationship, if any, between house prices and household incomes.
