Tian Han is a Henley Business School PhD student in the department of Leadership, Organisations and Behaviour.

Tian's research is based in strategic management and focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with research interests also including organisational learning, data mining and strategic management. Applying a quantitative approach of data-mining and textual analysis, Tian examines to what extent market signals affect the bidding behaviours of serial acquirers, with a particular consideration towards financial market signals and market sentiments as indicated by media coverage.

In 2015 he earned an MFin in International Finance (Distinction) at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. He earlier obtained his BSc in International Economics and Trade at Shanghai University (China) in 2014.
