PhD - Course Structure

A PhD in International Business and Strategy, Marketing and Reputation; and Leadership, Organisations and Behaviour at Henley Business School is taken on a full-time basis over three years.

We provide the opportunity for you to work on a one-to-one basis with your PhD supervisor(s), who will provide guidance both on research training and on the conduct and progress of your thesis. You will work closely with academics who have substantial research experience in your broad field of study. They will be able to provide advice regarding appropriate research literature, theory, and methodology.

Throughout your studies you will develop a critical understanding of the core fields within business and management, whilst focusing on your chosen area of specialisation. Progress during your PhD is carefully monitored by the programme director and by a board of studies, which ensures that the necessary supervisory support is in place and that you are given every opportunity to excel.
