2022 Huawei Learn On Programme
Huawei, in collaboration with University of Reading, is providing a series of Huawei certified training webinars by HICTA to all who are interested to attend, fully sponsored by Huawei and completely free for attendance.
The webinars consist of four streams, including Cloud Computing, Big Data, Storage, and Artificial intelligence. Two webinars are presented each week from 13:30-15:30 (GMT). After the webinar, the students can build a fundamental understanding of HCIA and be prepared well for join the formal HCIA training and achieve HCIA certification. - Introduction of the latest development of ICT industry and its applications in the real-life scenarios
- A virtual tour in Huawei Global Service Centre to gain an insight of working in Huawei
- An opportunity to talk to the staff in Huawei support community to explore the career opportunities
HICTA Student Ambassador Scheme
We are recruiting university students to help us promoting our organisation as Huawei ICT Academy (HICTA). Three positions are available, which are social media management, event planning and sales. The main duties include but not limited to:
- To raise the brand awareness of Huawei ICT Academy
- To promote Huawei HCIA certified courses
- To deliver the latest ICT related information to our target audiences
- Henley authorised internship certificate
- Free HCIA certified training courses which worth £1800
- Placement opportunity at Huawei or relevant companies
All levels of students are welcomed.

HICTA held a series of workshops to engage university students and further deliver the most advanced industrial information to university students.

Besides, we organise a series of tutorials and give students the great opportunities to communicate with the industrial experts face to face. On November 1 2019, we invited Dr. Wenbin Yao, the VP of Business Development and Partnership Huawei (UK), to deliver an exclusive 5G guest speech, discussing the current 5G development in the UK.
