World of Work Institute
As a leading global Business School, Henley has great expertise in people development and management education for business success and personal growth. The new World of Work Institute builds on our expertise and will explore trends such as the impact of COVID-19, climate change and economic trade volatility on the business world as well as considering the challenges and opportunities that the future world of work presents.
The focus of the Institute will include research and learner application on:
- AI and Automation - analysing the adoption of new advances in technology and innovation.
- Flexible working - researching changing attitudes to work including the rise of flexible/hybrid working and the four-day week.
- Equity in the work place - research aimed at to understand the reasons inequity still exists in the workplace, and the barriers and challenges to overcoming it.
How research outputs inform our work
The World of Work Institute will embed the Business School's research on the future of work in Henley's teaching and learning, and use data-driven insights to design and deliver an impactful and integrated strategy encompassing student development, career and professional development, equity, diversity and inclusion, and staff engagement
