News and Events

The Centre for China Management and Global Business produces a series of thought leadership articles and discussion papers, which engage with questions on the global challenges faced by our society that dominate the news.

In April 2020 the CMGB launched a new initiative to discuss the challenges and opportunities of COVID-19 in China and Asian contexts, in particular the responses and action taken by government and business. An article by faculty members Professor Yipeng Liu and Dr Jong Min Lee explored the management and business implications of COVID-19 by comparing China, South Korea and Singapore. Dr Washika Haak-Saheem discussed the implications for talent management in Dubai in response to COVID-19.
