Working with Academic Partners

Working with Academic Partners

BISA strives to work with the best academic partners in both teaching and research activities. The following are a few examples of how BISA aims to collaborate globally with academic partners in teaching and research activities:

  • Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), China - BISA collaborates with BIT on two degree programmes (MSc in Informatics and BA Accounting). In addition to hosting our degree programmes, local supervisors work with students - in the local language - to clarify taught content.
  • University of Ghana (Accra, Ghana), are collaborating with BISA in the development of the new MSc in Information Management Systems. The programme offers an excellent opportunity for students in West Africa to enjoy high standard British postgraduate-level education, at an affordable rate, on their door step.
  • The Informatics Research Centre (IRC), a research centre within BISA, is a key partner in the planning and running of the International Conference on Informatics and Semiotics in Organisations (ICISO); which since 1995 has been a leading conference in the area of semiotic research.

Henley Business School’s Informatics Research Centre is renowned for interdisciplinary and collaborative research, and knowledge transfer in information management. The centre continues to drive the research agenda in this field, with the strong support of industry and UK and EU funding bodies.
