Conference awards for the 44th AIB Conference
Academy of International Business (AIB-UKI) is pleased to announce an award of two John H. Dunning Lifetime Achievement prizes to Prof Peter Buckley and Prof Mark Casson. The prizes were conferred during the 44th AIB-UKI and 6th Reading IB Conference.
The winners of the doctoral colloquium prizes awarded at the conference were:
- Alexander Cats, Henley Business School, awarded the Neil Hood and Stephen Young prize for the most original work.
- Naunghathai Intakhantee, University of Leeds, awarded Michael Z. Brook prize for the best doctoral paper.
The best competetive paper prize was awarded by Palgrave Macmillan to Dr Quyen Nguyen, Henley Business School for a paper titled: 'Finance and Exports of Foreign Subsidiaries of Multinational Enterprises'.
Research in International Business and Finance prize was awarded to Michael Zisuh Ngoasong, The Open University for a paper titled: 'How do business models of microfinance institutions encourage entrepreneurship at the bottom-of-the-pyramid?’
