Developing Management Practice is a practical programme designed to help you get measurable results from your team.

Taught in small, supportive cohorts, the programme combines psychometrics, workshops, group discussion and 1:1 coaching. It culminates in the creation of a strategic personal plan to record your actions and next steps.

Developing Management Practice is taught through a combination of action-learning workshops, group discussion and one-to-one coaching.

The programme runs for a total of five days and covers:

- Change processes and managing others through change
- Building self-awareness
- Identifying and promoting your personal brand
- People and relationship management

Meet the Programme Directors
Debora Brockwell is a business consultant and executive coach with extensive operational and strategic experience. She spent 10 years at Marks & Spencer plc in a variety of senior HR roles, including Head of HR for a division comprising 10,000 employees and 40 direct reports.
Denise Fryer is DMP joint programme director and also works as an executive coach, focussing on change and transition. These roles keep her in touch with the development managers seek, to help them address their specific challenges and situations. Denise’s experience of working with a diverse global client base throughout her career provides both a broad and informed perspective on working in today’s businesses.
