Description
Behavioural change is a complex subject that affects us at a personal and professional level – we all develop patterns of behaviour during our lives and while some may be useful, others are not. The challenge is to know how to break a cycle of unhelpful behaviour.
Most behaviour is at an unconscious level, meaning that everything we do is not necessarily intentional and thought out. We tend to be ‘natural’.
This session takes a look at some of your challenges and covers habits, conscious and unconscious behaviour and how to approach behavioural change for yourself and within your organisation.
In this practical and interactive session, you will gain insights into your and others’ behaviour and how to decide what you will habituate to.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the event you will:
- understand how to tune in to unconscious behaviour and how it impacts habits – your own and others’
- appreciate how to really listen – and to create the space for true communication to happen
- understand how your demeanour and attitude create your ‘brand’ and your reputation – whether you realise it or not!
- become conscious of some of your unconscious behaviour, so that you can make conscious choices about how you come over to others in future.
