This online webinar will be presented by Dr Rita Fontinha, Assistant Professor in Strategic Human Resource Management; International Business and Strategy, Henley Business School, from 12:30 GMT to 13:30 GMT.
Webinar Synopsis:
In today’s business context, employers are moving, in varying degrees, toward increased flexibility regarding staffing. This means that traditional 9 to 5 office-based permanent work is slowly being replaced by a wide range of alternative work arrangements that include fixed-term contracts, frequent work-related travelling or virtual work. This webinar will discuss different alternative work arrangements and their potential implications for individuals’ quality of working life, later reflected on business performance. A research project based on a sample of permanent and temporary academics working in the UK will be presented.
