Coaching, Mindfulness and Nature
Henley has started a joint project working with academics from four universities in the UK and Ireland to review the growth in mindfulness and its potential as a tool in coaching conversations.
One specific strand is the exploration of the role of walking and talking coaching, and how the external environment (nature) and physical activity (walking and running) may impact on the nature and quality of the conversation. This project started in Spring 2018 and is likely to conclude in 2020-21 with a publication of a series of papers or books on the topic.
