Five years at no.1 for Real Estate and Planning courses

Henley Business School’s Real Estate and Planning courses in Land and Property Management have topped the Complete University Guide 2020, ranking at no.1 for overall subject for the fifth year in a row.

Town and Country Planning and Landscape Design also maintained a top 20 place in the UK guide, which is one of several produced to help students compare potential undergraduate courses before making a decision about where to study.

Henley prides itself on its research and expertise, with many of our faculty internationally-renowned and widely published in their respective fields. Their efforts are reflected in top 10 and top 20 positions for research quality:

  • Land and Property Management: no.1
  • Town and Country Planning and Landscape Design: no.5
  • Accounting and Finance: no.10
  • Business and Management Studies: no.13

The level of student satisfaction – a guide to how satisfied students are with the quality of teaching they receive – rose across our Accounting and Finance, and Business and Management Studies subject areas, as well as for Land and Property Management.

Henley also recorded top 20 positions for graduate prospects in Land and Property Management (no.1 for five years running), Business and Management Studies (no.13) and Accounting and Finance (no.17).

Commenting on the results, Professor Peter Miskell, Head of Undergraduate Programmes, said:

“We are delighted to see our Real Estate and Planning programmes maintain their no. 1 position in the Complete University Guide. This reflects the outstanding research strengths and deep industry connections that underpin our teaching in this area. In other subjects we are encouraged to see some notable improvements in our student satisfaction scores, and we continue to observe excellent student outcomes in terms of graduate employability across the board.”
