Henley Business School, MGIMO and UIBE Host Euro-Asia Conference
The first conference on Euro-Asian Cooperation was jointly organised between Henley Business School, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and the University of Business and Economics

Professor John Board and Professor Yelena Kalyuzhnova attended the first conference on Euro-Asian Cooperation jointly organised between Henley Business School, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and the University of Business and Economics (UIBE, China).
The conference, ‘In Search of a Greater Euro-Asia Partnership: Changes and Challenges’, was held in Moscow and examined Russian, Chinese and British approaches to the New Silk Road and assessed the potential for trilateral collaboration in areas of shared interest.
The ongoing strategic partnership between Henley and MGIMO was further strengthened by a series of discussions Professor Board and Professor Kalyuzhnova held with MGIMO academics, Dr Andrey Baykov (Vice-Rector on International Programmes), Dr Olga Vinokurova (Head of Dual Award Program at the School of International Economic Relations) and Dr Oleg Pichkov (Dean, Faculty of International Economic Relations) at the event on 30 May.
Henley currently has a number of successful projects with MGIMO such as research collaboration and a double PhD programme and further opportunities are being explored. Professor Board and Dr Artem Malgin (Vice-Rector on General Affairs) talked about new ways of working together, as well as a new recruitment process for a double UG degree in International Business and Finance.
Henley has been invited to the celebrations of 75 years of MGIMO this October.
