Henley Business School re-certified by EFMD for Managing People online course

We are delighted to announce that our ‘Managing People’ Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) has been re-certified for a further three year period under the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)’s Online Course Certification System (EOCCS). The re-certification was formally approved following a review by a peer team of academic staff from other international business schools.
Henley Business School is among 19 schools internationally to be certified by EFMD, an organisation that provides a quality benchmark for management education, including online courses. This benefits both students and organisations, allowing digital teaching and learning to be utilised.
Henley’s ‘Managing People’ 16-week course allows participants to explore different areas of management, including understanding how to manage people and keep them engaged, strategies on how to get the best out of people, and ways to help identify tools and techniques to help managers deal with the challenges they may face throughout their career.
Understanding stress and motivation will also be covered on the course, including modules such as stress management within organisations, encouraging motivation in the workplace and job satisfaction.
Professor John Board, Dean of Henley Business School said:
“We are delighted that our Managing People course has been re-certified and that we are among a small number of institutions to have the quality of our online learning recognised by EFMD through its prestigious EOCCS accreditation. We recognise the importance of technology in delivering outstanding business education and enabling a wider audience to learn in an entirely new way from a world class business school.”
