Ann has been coaching since 2001, and subsequently extended her experience to coach supervision and training. She has worked with 500+ individuals and supervised 60+ coaches.
She has worked with clients on top-level leadership and professional qualification programmes, mainly through Henley Business School / University of Reading, and with individuals from a range of professional and cultural backgrounds.
She has a very clear stance on coaching: she believes - based on the evidence of many years’ work, study, and research - that the multiple dimensions of our selves and our lives are inextricably linked. So, whilst she works comfortably with complex coaching briefs and a range of psychometric tools and data, she positions these clearly as just some of the important components and resources within the wider field of holistic attention to the individual.
Some clients ask her to help them learn basic coaching skills that they can use themselves; at the more advanced level, she is part of the team of tutors on Henley’s Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching, and the Professional Certificate in Coaching Supervision, and the MSc in Coaching & Behavioural Change.
Her approach to coaching and supervision is eclectic, drawing upon a range of disciplines, instruments, models and frameworks. She has a particular interest in neuroscience, neuropsychology and applied positive psychology in coaching and coaching supervision. Her MSc research explored the neuroscientific aspects of performance anxiety and strategies for managing it.
She is fully insured, Data Protection registered, and in regular group and one-to-one coaching supervision.
Much of her one-to-one coaching is for corporate clients of Henley Business School who are attending Executive Education / Corporate Programmes, and the Henley MBA. In her private practice, her coaching, supervision and training work is mostly with smaller businesses and self-funding individuals.
