Specialisms

Christian is a town planning consultant in active planning practice, with over 25 years’ experience of town and country planning.

His clients include developers and housebuilders, commercial companies, solicitors and householders. He provides advice to rural estates across the South East of England and a number of the large London Estates including Grosvenor’s Belgravia Estate. The work undertaken includes all aspects of planning from site appraisals, applications, appeals, enforcement and lawfulness, and he has appeared at Land Tribunals and provided evidence for the High Court in land disputes.

In addition to private clients, Christian has for 20 years been an Inspector for the Planning Inspectorate, an Executive Agency of the Government, with a specialism in design and historic environment. He is also a Reporter for the Scottish Government and Chair of the Planning Panel for the States of Guernsey. This work sees him resolve disputes and determine planning appeals across England, Scotland and on Guernsey.
