Dr Ajeseun Jimo has over 5-years experience in the implementation of Additive Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Sustainable Technologies in contemporary manufacturing and energy supply chains.

Dr. Ajeseun Jimo obtained his PhD in Business and Management from Nottingham University Business School, through the Vice Chancellors Research Excellence and Nottingham University Business School scholarships. He also obtained his Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, with distinction, from the same institution. Prior to his Masters, Ajeseun worked for one of the largest banks in Nigeria, garnering 6 years of operations and marketing experience, which he brings to bear in his current research and teaching.

Ajeseun is passionate about advanced technologies (e.g. Additive Manufacturing (3D printing), Industry 4.0, Electric Vehicles and Charging infrastructure, District Heating, Heat pumps etc.) and the role that they play in transforming global supply chains. Through his research, Ajeseun has engaged with a wide array of industry stakeholders in Aerospace, Automotive, Energy and Marine supply chains and is keen to understand the Digital and sustainable transformations they are experiencing.

Dr Jimo will be presenting a working paper investigating stakeholder relations in the context of energy transition, using district heating as a case study.
