Isa Machado is a Henley Business School PhD student in the department of Leadership, Organisations and Behaviour.

Her research interests cover artificial intelligence in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industry, diversity and women in leadership, women in entrepreneurship, social corporate responsibility, women in SMEs and sustainable development.

Isa has a strong background in International Relations; in 2019 she completed an MSc in International Hospitality and Tourism Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She was also awarded the Best Postgraduate Student of Tourism 2018/2019 by the Association for Tourism in Higher Education (ATHE).
