Jeff is an Associate Faculty Member of Henley Business School. He contributes to the Henley Partnership and the Executive Management Programme, and is Programme Director for The Strategy Programme – Challenging Strategies with Insight. He has lectured in strategy at Henley Business School for over 15 years.
Jeff is an Associate Faculty Member and Executive Fellow of Henley Business School, contributing to tailored programmes and the Henley Partnership and as Programme Director for The Strategy Programme, uniquely developing and promoting strategy as a leadership tool. Jeff initially worked in oil exploration as both an engineer and a manager before doing an MBA. He then joined Abbott Laboratories in the UK as Divisional Manager. He was responsible for taking the division into the consumer market, achieving record sales. Jeff then started a management consultancy and has been a strategy advisor for over 30 years. He was also joint founder and an executive director of an engineering company for over 25 years.
An experienced consultant, lecturer, facilitator and designer of learning programmes, specialising in business strategy development and implementation, Jeff has been involved in over 150 projects in more than 50 countries. He has also been involved with Henley for over 16 years, bringing practical solutions and real-world experience combined with academic rigour. His experience spans many industries and he has worked with many blue-chip FMCG and B2B companies. His work includes developing customer-focused business strategies, running board-level business strategy reviews and creating customer-facing organisations. Jeff recently completed his doctorate where he researched the effect of setting business goals on organisational performance.
