Teresa has recently completed a two-year Executive Coaching certificate course and is looking forward to integrating those skills into the next phase of her academic career.

Prior to that, Teresa had many years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, followed by Human Resources Training and Development consulting. As an academic, her areas of research interest are primarily in qualitative research as a discipline, management education, national and organisational culture, and diversity. Teresa’s research approach is purely qualitative and is passionate about  exploring and communicating the value that qualitative approaches bring to the discovery and construction of new knowledge. She has over 40 academic publications, and has supervised over 80 Master’s students and ten PhDs to completion and graduation.

Teresa is also involved in a broad range of academic citizenship activities such as peer-reviewing journal articles, delivering workshops on postgraduate research supervision, and examining student research nationally and internationally. Teresa’s recent involvement in a major PhD Writing initiative is very exciting as it will surely support students and their supervisors to progress through the system to on-time graduation.
