Dr Wahab Shahbaz is a Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour at Henley Business School.

Wahab completed his PhD in Management from Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand, and also worked there as a tutor during his PhD studies. His PhD dissertation was on the topic of Mindfulness Experiences of University Staff in New Zealand, investigating how mindfulness practices and experiences can help university staff in their work life in terms of their wellbeing and performance.

He has presented research at national and international conferences and has a track record of publications in peer-reviewed academic journals, including Human Resource Management Review and Social Indicators Research. He has also received distinguished awards and scholarships, including the Labour and Industry - Best Paper (Research Insights) Award and a Massey University Doctoral Scholarship.

Outside of academia, Wahab has also worked in a public sector organisations. He has experience as a human resource and administration manager and in a public sector development project as an implementation and co-ordination specialist.
