RREF Careers Fair

The annual RREF Real Estate & Planning Careers Fair gives students a chance to boost their knowledge and gain valuable insights into the real estate industry.

Exclusively for Real Estate & Planning students, this fair offers a valuable opportunity to connect with over thirty real estate firms, build professional networks, and prepare for internship and graduate placement applications. It also allows participating companies to engage with high-calibre students who benefit from the outstanding education delivered through the Department of Real Estate & Planning.

RREF Student Wellbeing Programme

The RREF Student Wellbeing Programme offers free, one-to-one 30-minute tutorials exclusively for current Real Estate & Planning students, providing the tools and confidence to succeed academically.

These sessions offer a friendly and supportive space where students can:

  • Develop practical strategies for managing academic pressure
  • Learn ways to maintain balance and wellbeing
  • Build confidence and achieve their full potential
  • Discuss a range of study-related and wellbeing concerns

Students can work with an adviser to identify helpful support strategies, develop an action plan, and access information about other relevant support services available across the University.

Assessment Day Workshops

Open to Part 3 undergraduate and Master's students in the Department of Real Estate & Planning, these workshops are designed to demystify assessment days and help students prepare for graduate recruitment processes with confidence.

Students can:

  • Gain insight into what to expect during assessment days
  • Develop interview, presentation and group exercise skills
  • Practise techniques to improve confidence and performance
  • Prepare effectively for graduate and internship opportunities
