Chartered Manager Degree | BA (Hons) in Applied Management

Our programme is designed to enhance employees' management capabilities through hands-on, work-based projects. Apprentices will tackle real-life organisational and managerial challenges, exploring various solutions to address these issues. This practical approach fosters a creative and effective mindset, essential for sound decision-making in the future.

Apprentices will also gain a deep understanding of the operational context within Lloyds Banking Group. This programme provides learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to become exceptional managers. Both Lloyds Banking Group and Henley's Apprenticeship Tutors play a pivotal role in guiding learners, supporting their development, and empowering them to make a significant impact in the workplace.

Awards & qualifications

On successful completion of the programme, apprentices will be awarded:

  • a BA (Hons) in Applied Management
  • the Level 6 Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship
  • a CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership
  • Chartered Manager status (on successful EPA)
  • CMI student membership (programme duration plus three months, with the option for individuals to pay full membership thereafter).

FAQs

What if I don’t have Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths/can't find my certificates?

Learners must have Level 2 qualifications in English and maths (i.e GCSEs at Grades 9-4 or A*-C, or equivalent) before starting their Henley apprenticeship.

The government has provided a useful link for those who may have mislaid their exam certificates. If you need to obtain these qualifications before starting the programme, we can help you by placing you on a short Functional Skills programme alongside your apprenticeship. If you obtained your qualifications overseas, please send your certificates to LBGApprenticehips@henley.ac.uk so they can be checked against the National database.

How often will I be expected to attend face-to-face workshops at Henley?

The programme has 32 face-to-face workshops, spread across the duration of the programme, including a 2-day Orientation workshop where attendance is mandatory.
