Lucy has practised meditation for over 20 years. A qualified mindfulness meditation teacher after training in India and with the British School of Meditation, Lucy is passionate about promoting the physical and mental health benefits of mindfulness and meditation to as many people as possible, whatever their age or background.

Lucy is one of the UK’s leading experts in making meditation accessible to all, having taught tens of thousands of adults and children in schools, workplaces and in the studio over the past five years, and recently launched Meditation Rocks during lockdown after going live every morning on Facebook with an eight minute meditation. After attracting hundreds of followers and thousands of views on her videos, Lucy has now launched Meditation Rocks as a subscription based offering.

Lucy has worked as a consultant to BBC Studios advising on yoga and meditation for TV shows, including writing scripts for Alexander Armstrong to voice for the Cbeebies show, Hey Duggee. She has recently written for The Guardian and The Independent on the subject of meditation. She co-founded The Hive Yoga Studio in Bath which is currently also running online as The Hive Live streaming classes to thousands of participants joining from all over the world. A former BBC journalist and presenter, Lucy used meditation during breaks from presenting on air to manage her panic attacks and anxiety.

“"Lucy's unique personable, engaging and accessible style and authenticity is what sets her apart from so many other teachers. She is making mindfulness relevant to a modern world and helping us all find peace, ten minutes at a time."”
Becky Hamilton, workshop attendee
