Think of a time when you listened to an exceptional speaker at a conference – how great was their ability to influence you? How great might their ability be, to make an impact and to influence the outcomes of a meeting?
As a leader, nothing is more crucial than having the skills and confidence to influence individuals and teams inside and outside their organisation. But this doesn’t usually happen as a matter of course – it takes skill-building and practice.
This one-day masterclass will allow participants to assess where they are now, and will provide the knowledge and tools to transform their effectiveness both at work and in their personal lives.
It will be fast paced. It will challenge individuals and accepted practice. It will be highly practical – and people will leave with the confidence, capability and energy to influence others and create greater impact than ever before.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the event you will have:
- assessed yourself and others
- decided on the changes you need to make
- given feedback to others.
Who Should Attend?
Individuals who lack confidence in pressure situations.
Individuals who are confident and would like to refine their existing skills and experience.
Individuals who are not sure how to improve their ability to influence.

Peter Nelson
Peter Nelson speaks at conferences and runs training courses on presentation skills, communication and influencing, leadership impact, negotiating skills, client relationships and business pitching.
He often works with facilitators when working with large groups. He pioneered using actors for business roleplays in the 1990s.
He is an Executive Fellow of Henley Business School and has run the three-day Influence and Impact course at Henley for over 15 years. Peter has coached and advised a number of high-profile individuals.
