HAINA Open Session- Huawei ICT Competition, Work Placement Scheme (Jan 16, 2020)

Huawei is a leading global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions provider. As a leader and innovator of ICT technologies, Huawei has developed an ICT industry recognized global Certification programme and talent ecosystem.

In 2015, Huawei (UK) collaborated with Henley Business School to establish the first Huawei ICT Academy in the UK. Since then, Huawei ICT Academy constantly introduced a series of Huawei certified training courses to on campus students and further help industry to cultivate multi-skilled ICT talents.

In order to develop a more comprehensive certification programme, Huawei holds an annual ICT competition in line with its training courses. Coming to the end of 2019, Huawei Global ICT Competition is calling for participants. Selected candidate will have a chance to visit Shenzhen, China around May 2020 for the global final competition. If you are interested in working in Huawei or other related technology companies, it will be helpful for you to attend this session.

In this open session, Mr. Qi Li, Huawei ICT Academy authorised instructor, will deliver a brief introduction of Cloud Computing, Big Data as well as AI with a successful business case to illustrate how those technology can help with today's business. If you are interested in our short-term internship programme at Huawei (UK) office, please attend this section for further details.

The open session will take place at Room 106 Palmer Building on Thursday Jan 16,2020.
