Henley Summer Start-Up Boot Camp 2019

Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the PopUp Business School, are delighted to announce the launch of the Henley Summer Start-Up Boot Camp 2019.

Hosted at the Henley Business School, the Boot Camp is a hands-on, week-long course for students and local budding entrepreneurs to help them learn about setting up a business from scratch. The course will give participants the confidence and skills to start a business and make money doing what they love and covers some key points for any aspiring entrepreneur.

The Boot Camp will be held from 24-28 June 2019, 10:00am to 4:00pm in room G15 of the Henley Business School building, Whiteknights campus, RG6 6UD. Please note that registrations are now closed.

Monday

- How to start a business for free

- The quickest way to start a business

Tuesday

- Sales and the dark side of marketing

- Growing your business quickly

Wednesday

- How to make a great website for free

- Building websites and how to take online payments

Thursday

- Social media explained

- How to find and grow your customers online

Friday

- The legal bit: taxes and company structure

- The 12 pop-up principles and finale

Please note that as there are limited spaces on the Boot Camp you will be asked to submit a supporting statement to explain why you wish to attend in 100 words or less. After you have registered your interest, you will be informed within one week whether your application to attend was successful.

Attendance is free for anyone connected to the Henley Business School or the University of Reading. To be considered 'connected', you would need to be either a current student, an alumnus or a member of staff.

If you are not connected to the University of Reading or Henley Business School you will need to pay a fee of £125 - we will send you a separate payment link with instructions to pay after you have registered your interest in attending.
