The Introduction to IDEAFEST Workshop is an opportunity offered to students who intend to enter IDEAFEST. This workshop provides some insights into how to submit a great entry, covering the theory and practice of business idea generation and development as well as some tips from members of the IDEAFEST judging panel and former competition winners.

The workshop will be held both in person at room 108 of the Henley Business School building, Whiteknights campus, and online via Microsoft Teams on 21 January 2022, 10:00am. The full schedule is outlined below:

10:05am - So You Have a Business Idea: the Seven Principles of Winning IDEAFEST (Dr Norbert Morawetz)

10:30am - Protecting Your Business Idea (Jurek Sikorski)

10:45am - What You Need to Know About Legal (Stuart Mullins, Partner, Clarkslegal)

11:00am - Break

11:15am - IDEAFEST 2022 Competition (Jurek Sikorski)

11:30am - IDEAFEST Finalists' Panel (moderated by Jurek Sikorski)

12:00pm - Finish
