Her developmental inquiry approach fosters new insights, balance, and clarity, incorporating nature and systems thinking into the learning process. She provides a safe space for coaches to explore client cases, ethical issues, and personal and professional development.

As an Accredited Master Executive Coach, Anna supports leaders navigating key transitions, helping them expand self-awareness and gain greater clarity on their relationships and their organisational contexts. With 20 years of senior leadership experience and an Executive MBA, combined with her BSc in Environmental Science, Anna blends business leadership with a focus on natural balance and wellbeing to illuminate systemic patterns and responses. Passionate about community, Anna co-founded the Coaching In & With Nature Pod within the Climate Coaching Alliance (CCA). She also serves as a Board Director for the Association for Professional Executive Coaching & Supervision (APECS), holding the Supervision and Sustainability portfolios, and hosts free monthly nature walks for people developers in Hertfordshire and London.

Workshop: Coach Supervision with Nature

In this interactive session, Anna will share her experience of supervising coaches in nature. She has found that whether her clients are outdoor coaches or not, for their own supervision and development, they can experience the magical benefits of immersing themselves in nature for an exploration of self, system and practice.

Using a mix of anonymised cases and a sprinkling of science, Anna will illuminate the enhanced value nature brings to the key aspects of supervision. Nature is inherently systemic, so supervision with nature inevitably encompasses the nature of the coach, as a human being, as a person, as a practitioner along with their relationships with their wider system (human and more than human) and the complex interconnected processes, patterns and actions that are unfolding. This approach does not have a formula, it does not have a plan or specific goals, it requires the practitioner to hold a space alongside nature that allows for deep learning and inspiration to emerge.

Di West

Di West

Di leads a team of coaches and counsellors for the mental health charity Mind Over Mountains. Di’s work with groups to support mental health in the outdoors provides a gentle, kind and supportive environment. The creation of a psychologically safe space, the honest and non-judgemental approaches used and the ability to remain in tune with both individuals and group, whilst consciously partnering with nature are key to its success. Sometimes stepping back for nature to take its lead and at other times proactively stepping in, to bring awareness of physical, emotional and intuitive elements, the interplay between coach, group and nature, create their own magic. Di’s knowledge and understanding of group psychology and group dynamics enables often powerful, transformational shifts in thinking for participants.

Following a first career in education, Di was pulled toward coaching in the outdoors through experiencing some brilliant, transformational coaching as a headteacher and from reflecting on her own strategies for resilience; getting outside to play, mountain walking, biking, running or climbing.

Diana Tedoldi

Diana Tedoldi

Ciao. I’m Diana, an Italian team coach, leadership and executive coach with 20+ years of experience in the corporate environment and an international background. I'm also the founder of The Nature Coaching Academy, where I teach how to coach in deep synergy with body and nature (the ICF accredited Level 1 ""Ecosomatic coaching training"", 124 hrs). Since 2019, I have graduated over 70 professional coaches who are now integrating embodiment, contemplative practices, and nature connection in coaching conversations. Our motto: Deeper dialogues, wider belongings. Since 2000, I have worked with over 30.000 persons in over 3.000 experiences I designed and led. I gave two TEDx Talks: ""Letting Nature be your coach"" (TEDx Aston University, UK, with James Farrell) and “La natura della lentezza” (TEDx Catholic University in Italy, where I spoke about Nature as an enabler of slowness and deep wellbeing, for people and planet).I regularly speak at International conferences and corporate gigs about the value of reconnecting with nature for personal, professional growth and societal change.

My goal is to inspire a deep mindset change where nature is part of every decision-making process, fostering the global transition to a regenerative, interconnected way to think, live, and work.

Workshop: Ecosomatic Coaching: Coaching with Body & Earth

Experience the benefits of nature-connectedness, embodiment and contemplative practices in a coaching session. In this workshop, you will discover the Ecosomatic approach to coaching, integrating body and nature in a deeper dialogue with your clients, exploring how it can be a powerful partner in a coaching conversation. By slowing down and shifting our internal states, we can regulate our nervous system and unlock innovative perspectives on ourselves, enhancing our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Nature-connectedness fosters a sense of belonging to life’s web, unfolding long-term and systemic thinking, pro-environmental and pro-social behaviour, something crucial in our time of spiritual, social, and ecological transformation.

She works with teams and groups to help people slow down, think more clearly and reconnect with what matters. Her approach blends practical structure with the grounding presence of the natural world, creating space for reflection, meaningful conversation and shared insight.

Ellie leads the Source to Sea journey along the Thames with Professor Jonathan Passmore and is the creator of Coaching in Motion, a programme that supports coaches and facilitators to design and lead their own group coaching walks. She is also co-author of Outdoor Coaching: A Practical Guide and has developed a set of nature-based coaching cards to deepen awareness and connection during walks and team sessions.

Her work is rooted in the belief that connecting with others, in nature and through movement, is a powerful antidote to digital overload and modern-day disconnection. Her style is down-to-earth, warm and accessible, offering a steady, practical way to help people reconnect with themselves, each other and the landscape around them.

Workshop: Facilitating Group Coaching in Nature

Group coaching outdoors calls for a different skill set than 1:1 nature-based coaching. It requires thoughtful structure, clarity of intention and a grounded, steady presence, much of which happens before you even begin.

In this experiential session, Ellie will guide you through a short group walk within the grounds and share simple ways to shape group coaching sessions outdoors. You’ll explore how to create psychological safety for a group of strangers, support meaningful dialogue and work with the environment as a co-facilitator rather than a backdrop, while still holding the needs and safety of the group.

We’ll also touch on practical foundations - such as risk assessment, weather planning and clear contracting, that help outdoor group work feel safe, ethical and well-held. Expect a warm, practical session designed to help you feel more confident with the idea of taking groups outside and working with nature as part of the process.

Workshop: Turning Intentions into Transformative Actions through Poetry

“There is no Wi-Fi in the forest, but I promise you will find a better connection.” - Ralph Smart.

“Poetry stirs the soul and speaks to the mind to understand the beauty we call life" - Mala Naidoo

Taking two days to unplug from our busy day to day and connect to nature, creates the ideal opportunity for us to access our deeper wisdom and gain direction for a life that would nourish our souls. Often, we have the right intentions and know what needs to happen but struggle with the 'how' and eventually our minds rationalise it out of us. Poetry speaks directly to the knowing part of you, activating our inner 'truth'; bypassing the noise of simplistic logic.

Join this talk to experience the power of poetry to activate your innermost passions, integrate your insights from the event and learn how translate your liberating intentions into sustainable actions that will alter the course of your life and coaching practice.

I have obtained special dispensation to have the poetry police detained throughout the event, so you get to flex your creative muscles in the process!

His work is rooted in Attention Restoration Theory (ART), which suggests that natural environments have a unique capacity to restore our mental focus and creativity. Through his book, The Creativity Factor, Garry introduces a methodology designed to enhance creativity by combining movement, mindfulness, and immersion in nature — all with the goal of replenishing the cognitive resources that modern life often drains.

With a background in business and technology, Garry has spent years observing the impact of digital overload. His journey into the world of creativity and attention restoration began with his deep love for the outdoors. He recognized how spending time in nature, engaging in mindful activities, and allowing the mind to wander freely could lead to profound insights and creative breakthroughs. He believes that stepping away from screens and into nature is not just a luxury but a necessity in today’s fast-paced world and through his speaking engagements, workshops, and writing, Garry continues to inspire individuals and organizations to embrace nature-based strategies for attention restoration, innovation, and personal growth.

Workshop: Coaching in Motion: How Nature and Movement Shape Reflective Thinking

This interactive 90-minute session introduces coaches to the emerging theory and practice of coaching in motion: exploring how natural environments and physical movement can deepen reflection, creativity and commitment to change. Drawing on new research and recent advances in cognitive and environmental psychology, the session explores how attention, emotion and dialogue shift when coaching takes place outdoors. Participants will experience short, guided walking conversations, tried and tested methodologies, and learn how movement, landscape and relational positioning can become active elements in the coaching process. The workshop provides a practical grounding in the ideas behind Garry's Outside Thinking methodology and offers fresh perspectives on how the environment itself can act as a catalyst for awareness, meaning-making and agency in coaching.

Workshop: Nature Coaching in Urban Spaces with Jackee Holder

What happens when nature coaching meets the city? Amidst concrete, crowds and neon, nature holds surprising power. This experiential session explores the unique character of coaching in urban landscapes: including parks, watersides, courtyards, gardens, street trees and views. We will consider how people connect with urban and rural places differently, how towns and cities shape attention and emotion, and how coaches can work sensitively and sustainably within these environments. Come curious, and leave ready to create coaching experiences that help people - and cities - thrive.

Jackee Holder

Jackie Holder

Jackee is a leadership coach, coach facilitator and creative coach supervisor. She is a writer and author of over five non-fiction titles; 49 Ways to Write Yourself Well, Be Your Own Best Life Coach, and two illustrated writing maps, Writing With Fabulous Trees and Rewilding The Page. She self-published The Inner & Outer Nature Self-Discovery Card Deck, a collection of 49 journaling prompts inspired by nature. She specializes in reflective writing, journaling, and helping clients access the well-being benefits of connecting with nature.

As a global minority woman born and raised in the UK, Jackee brings a unique perspective to this work. Her lived experience, identity, and commitment to diversity inform her approach, particularly in the fields of coaching outdoors and environmental science, where Black and diverse voices are often underrepresented. Jackee's relationship with trees and nature was rekindled in her early thirties through a transformative encounter with a city tree in her local neighbourhood. This “medicine story” broke through her sense of disconnect from nature and deeply influenced her approach to coaching and facilitation. She loves city walks and finds joy in exploring nature in urban settings. One of her favourite walks is her bi-annual urban pilgrimage to Richmond Park, the second largest nature reserve in the city of London

Workshop: Nature as an Equaliser: Exploring Equity, Privilege, and Belonging in Coaching.

Nature treats all beings with the same impartiality, yet our human systems rarely do.

This session invites coaches to reflect on the many faces of inequity, both visible and invisible. From race and gender to hidden disability, economic background, social mobility, and beyond, we will explore how different forms of inequity shape who feels safe, seen, or supported in coaching and in nature-based spaces.

Through dialogue, movement, and reflection, we will examine what it means to practise inclusion as an intentional act rather than an assumed one. Together, we will ask: if nature is the great equaliser, how can we, as coaches, learn from its neutrality to widen our own circles of trust and belonging?

Expect a thought-provoking and compassionate session that blends nature’s wisdom with courageous self-inquiry.

Workshop: Nature Serious Play - How To Deeply Engage with the Landscape

Both scientific and anecdotal evidence suggests that multisensory engagement with nature is the best way to get the maximum holistic benefit from natural interactions. However, the current practices of ""walk and talk"" Nature coaching although powerful is still limited in its scope. So how do we get beyond these standardized practices to get the greatest engagement with the landscape and therefore ourselves and how to we pass it on to our clients, for them to achieve the maximum benefits within their natural environment?
Beginning with a review of the incredibly well proven and established principles and methodology of Lego® Serious Play® which has been used so widely and well throughout various industries and corporate settings, we will identify and embrace different potential approaches to time outdoors and our utilisation of natural resources in a coaching setting.

Workshop: Equine Partnerships – The Power of Presence

Imagine collaborating with a natural partner who truly lives in the present moment, who gives immediate & genuine feedback straight from the heart, with no judgement or bias. Partnering with horses in their natural surroundings creates a unique experiential coaching environment. Honest & consistent, these incredible creatures, create endless learning opportunities, offering transformational results. What could be learnt from these sensitive, intuitive creatures? How could these learnings be incorporated into your coaching toolbox?

According to Kruger and Serpell (2003) 'the mere presence of an animal, ‘its spontaneous behaviours, and its availability for interaction may provide opportunities and confer benefits that would be impossible, or much harder to obtain in its absence’.

Join us for this workshop if you’re keen to explore the horse’s natural responses, their immediate impact and the rich learnings they present.

Will Brown

Will Brown

Will Brown is the founder of Garden Thinking, an eco-philosophical studio and growing community of practice. With a background in English literature (Oxford), ecological design (Schumacher College), and coaching, Will helps practitioners and organisations cultivate change through nature-connected approaches to collaboration, creativity, and care.

His work explores the Garden not only as a physical space, but as a metaphorical and metaphysical site for inquiry, regeneration, and cultural revival. Will is currently co-producing Tending to Endings, a Joseph Rowntree Foundation-funded project using garden-based metaphors to support conversations around closure and transition. He also curates Collaborative Residencies, connecting professionals through travel, hosting, and mutual generosity.

Will’s writing, consultancy, and facilitation invite a radical reimagining of how we live and work; rooted in patience, diversity, and seasonal flow. He is seeding what he calls a “horticultural renaissance” across sectors and disciplines.

Workshop: Garden Thinking - Tending to Endings

What if our work felt more like tending a garden; attuned, relational, and quietly transformative? This workshop invites practitioners and organisations to explore Garden Thinking: a nature-connected approach to collaboration, creativity, and care.

Rooted in the eco-systemic wisdom of good gardening, we’ll examine how seasonal rhythms, diversity, and patience can inform how we lead, create, and connect. Through guided inquiry, shared reflection, and gentle provocation, participants will begin to reimagine their work as a living landscape, one that grows through attention, adaptation, and trust.

Together, we’ll seed a horticultural renaissance: a radical revival of the Garden as a site for collective inquiry, cross-sector innovation, and cultural regeneration. Whether you’re cultivating solo projects or organisational ecosystems, this is an invitation to slow down, dig deep, and grow something quietly powerful.

Our purpose
“I really got a lot from this event. I'd signed up in the hope I'd learn new theories, tools and techniques I could use with my clients. I'd not realised that the whole experience would be such a personally enriching one, and that I'd leave feeling refreshed and renewed. The variety and quality of speakers was excellent. And it was good to have so much time to network with both old and new connections”
