Join us for this MBA event to hear from Karen Jansen, Professor of Leadership and Change at Henley Business School, about her research into organisational fit. Discover how you can leverage your organisation’s fit to retain key staff and achieve long-term outcomes.
Professor Jansen’s research has shown that individuals have particular beliefs and preferences about what ‘fit’ means to them. Some emphasised fit with the task, job, or work, while others focused on the people, social environment or culture. Our qualitative analysis revealed four prototypical ways that people view their fit over extended periods of time; in short, their fit identity.
In preparation for this event, you will have the opportunity to take a survey to learn your dominant Fit ID, and become familiar with all four fit identities from our cutting-edge research. We will explore the implications of this identity for your own career, for working with or leading others, and for the overall health of your organisation.
After the talk you will have the chance to network over refreshments with MBA students from different cohorts, as well as with external guests from companies that have worked with Henley Business School over the last year.
