The course provided a great foundation to start a career in management accounting. The opportunity to connect with students from different backgrounds was good and the Henley careers team provided great support.
A lot of the lecturers tried to bring practical aspects to their classes. Valuable lessons such as how to read a Financial Statement and how to understand the Marketing Budget have helped me navigate my first job after graduating.
The careers department was sensational, they guided us through the application process so we were fully prepared, and ensured we were aware of every available opportunity. Also, the industry mentors and networking events are a great initiative.
I have learned several skills and gained knowledge, especially in branding, communication strategy, statistics, and critical thinking. All of which encourages my career and improves performance and individual skill.
The exposure to leadership subjects and a broad spectrum of theoretical and practical knowledge has equipped me with confidence and a far-reaching skill set that I am currently leveraging within my role.
